Getting Started with SiteTradr

List your favorite sites here and see the sites other teachers like best too! Use SiteTradr’s search engine to search by key words and access the sites other teachers are using. See the directions on how to export a bookmarked list and upload it to SiteTradr to share your resources with others.

Helpful Hints:

• If you’ve found a site that’s a great resource for connecting lessons with state standards, post a brief description of your findings to help your peers.
• Make sure you tag your lists appropriately, and with multiple key words, so the SiteTradr search engine pulls up all possible matches to give you and your colleagues the best results.
• While SiteTradr is compatible with any Internet browser and does not require any software, it is also the perfect companion to Surf-Lock2 from GenevaLogic. With Surf-Lock2, a teacher can instantly control student access to the Internet, so that students see only the web sites that are appropriate for a particular lesson.
